International Nail Manufacturers (INM) had humble beginnings, and although the company now ships to 27 countries, and is one of the largest and most progressive companies in the beauty industry, it’s customers oriented philosophy has never changed.

In 1979 Jim and Charlene George founded Nail Fashions. Nail Fashions specialized in the sales of nail jewelry to salons. Their business quickly grew, and in 1980 they opened Nail Emporium, supplying nail techs with a vast array of nail products. Jim George continued to re-invent the industry by creating WINBA. America’s largest Nail Show. WINBA attracted Nail Technicians, Competitors, and Judges from around the world.

With Jim and Charlene’s vast knowledge of our industry and outstanding customer service, the next step was naturally to move toward product development and manufacturing.

In 1985 International Nail Manufacturers was born. 1989 was a big year for INM, relocating to their current 40,000+ square feet manufacturing plant located in Anaheim Hills, California and developing Out-The-Door Topcoat, which is available in over 4500 locations around the world.

Out the door Topcoat has remained a staple for the Professional Nail Technician and has become a household name selling more annually than many leading competitors complete lines.

The success of Out The Door Topcoat spurred INM on to expand their range of products to include a complete selection of the finest quality of Acrylics, Gels, Wraps, Nail Treatments, Implements, Acrylic Design Products, and Electric File accessories found in the professional Beauty Industry today.

INM Canada is in the process of building a team of educators to serve the growing need for ongoing education nationwide. With a focus on both newly licensed and established technicians, the goal is to create a network of professionals promoting the highest standards of quality and innovation. This team will energize the industry by sharing knowledge of new products and technicians while embracing the building blocks of proper application and care. Relying on the eagerness to learn and the dedication to teach of each individual. INM’s name is sure to be evermore synonymous with a forward-thinking attitude. Spear-headed by president Faye Keys, the INM Education ambition is quickly reaching every corner of the country.
